Team Wales announce Nathaniel Cars as new partner

Team Wales today announced Nathaniel Cars as an Official Team and Community Partner for Commonwealth Games Wales

This 4-year agreement will provide Team Wales with an electric car to visit hundreds of schools and events across Wales as part of the Youth Engagement Project, promoting health, well-being, and education through sport.

Welsh family business Nathaniel Cars was first established in 1980 and has helped over 25,000 customers with their motoring needs.  They now have three locations across South Wales, in Bridgend, Cardiff and Cwmbran, with a fourth showroom planned to open in Swansea early in 2024.

Nathan Griffiths, Group Manager said of the partnership “Nathaniel Cars have been proud to support sport in Wales for many years now and we are very excited to have the opportunity now to partner Team Wales at the Commonwealth Games.  Becoming an Official Team Wales partner really excites us not just from a patriotic perspective but also knowing we’re making a difference to our future stars!”

The vehicle will be an integral part of developing the youth project, giving the team further accessibility to travel across the Country to engage with schools and clubs.

Rebecca Edwards-Symmons, CEO of Team Wales added “Team Wales are thrilled to have Nathaniel Cars as a Platinum partner and we are excited they have chosen to partner with us. Like Team Wales, Nathaniel Cars has the Welsh community and pride at its heart and we look forward to having a long-term partnership with Wayne, Nathan and the wider Nathaniel Cars team”
