Team Cymru Business Club is a unique opportunity to celebrate the talent and pride of Team Wales athletes in the Commonwealth Games.

The Business Club will highlight the depth and breadth of sporting talent across Wales, with both athletes and the dedicated support staff further emphasising the pride and power of the Team Wales brand. We will look to drive the business network across Team Wales,member sports and wider stakeholders to share inspiring stories, educate and learn from one another, and further enhance our network using the power of The Commonwealth Games.

Creating a strong network of businesses in Wales who share a passion across multiple sports across the country. The Commonwealth Games is the only competition where athletes with disabilities and able-bodied athletes are selected as one inclusive team.

Team Wales Business Club will be touring all of Wales and will have over 7 events every year.

We are delighted to be collaborating with Cardiff Metropolitan University to bring you a networking event and panel discussion.

11.45 – Guest Arrival

12:15- 13:15 Panel discussion: The extraordinary Female Body- empowering women to truly maximise their potential in being physically active and achieving their goals.

13:15 – 14:30 – Networking and buffet available in Centro- Students Union

14:30 – Networking event to close

The panel discussions will focus on the Female Body and how by raising awareness we can empower women to truly maximise their potential in being physically active and achieving their sporting goals and ambitions.

Our esteemed panellists are Dr Emma Ross, the Well HQ, Rebecca Edwards-Symmons Team Wales CEO and Sarah Jones, Welsh Hockey and Team GB, Natalia Mia-Roach, Cardiff Met Students Union President and Suzy Drane Wales Netball, Cardiff Met & Team Wales. The Panel will be hosted by Professor Julia Longville.

Following the panel discussion, we will welcome questions from the audience to provide further engaging conversations on the topic.

This panel and networking event is part of a wider event being held throughout the day by Cardiff Metropolitan University which is the launch of the ArcHER programme.
