Commonwealth Games Wales are actively recruiting several key roles to manage and support the team in the run up and during the games to help create an inspirational and inclusive environment to enable the athletes to perform at their best and thrive in a world-class sporting event.
The skills and experience required varies and the roles will include senior and junior opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the Team Wales legacy as we count down to the 23rd Commonwealth Games. Roles include:
- Team Doctor
- Team Physio
- Team Support (these are hands on roles to ensure athletes are supported at all times during the Games);
- Logistics and Operational
- Media and Communication (Managing Victory, Social Media, Team Wales House Management *roles in Glasgow and/or Wales)

Commitment and requirements
Commitment in the lead up and during the games will vary depending on the role, but all positions will require you to:
- Attend 1 pre-games workshop in person
- Be DBS checked
- Be available for the duration of the games (July 20 – August 2, 2026)
- Attend a safeguarding course (level depending on role)
- Attend an Anti-Doping course (depending on role)
- Be willing to work flexible and long hours when required during the games
- Be able to work under pressure in the lead up and during the games
- Be a team player who can also work independently when required
- Follow the Team Wales code of conduct
All roles are voluntary, but all travel, accommodation, meals and kit will be provided, (including approved expenses).
