Athletics has been part of every Commonwealth Games since the inaugural Games in 1930, when Team Wales also made its debut. Team Wales will compete in Glasgow with 18 athletes, including 12 women, six men and six para-athletes. The Team Manager is Commonwealth bronze medallist Rhys Williams (400m hurdles).
