Julie has competed in a wide variety of para sports: In 2012 she competed at the Paralympics for Sitting Volleyball before making the move to 100m and being selected for the Rio Paralympic Games. Whilst studying in Cardiff she started training in the discus throw which complimented her training as a power athlete. She is very new to the sport and Birmingham 2022 will be her debut championships for discus.
