All you need to know about our ‘home from home’
Team Wales House will be a central hub for athletes, families, supporters and partners to engage in a ‘home from home’ environment.
As well as being a central venue for athletes and support staff to visit during the Games, it will also provide a Welsh hub for our visiting supporters to relax, engage, and watch the athletes in action.
The ‘house’ will host a number of formal and informal events during the Games period.
The venue will also be Team Wales’s media hub, bringing athletes into the Team Wales House for TV, radio, podcast, and digital content.
The Team Wales House at VEGA
Based at VEGA, YOTEL Glasgow’s sky-high venue, right in the heart of the city, Team Wales House will be a vibrant space for athletes, supporters, partners, and the wider Welsh community. From medal celebrations and cultural events to live entertainment and athlete meet-and-greets — this will be the place to come together and showcase Welsh pride on the international stage.
For the first time, YOTEL Glasgow will also serve as part of Team Wales’ Games operations, giving our community a true home away from home.
