Squash made its debut at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, and as a core sport, has appeared in every edition since. Wales have won two bronze medals over its 20 year span, Alex Gough in 1998 and Tesni Evans in 2018. Birmingham 2022 will see the Welsh team court a strong team of five athletes, Tesni Evans will return alongside her brother, Emyr, who will be making his Commonwealth Games debut.
