William Roberts is a Welsh endurance cyclist from Gorseinon, specialising in track events including the team pursuit, individual pursuit and scratch race, while also racing on the road.
Born in Swansea and raised in Wales, William developed through the Welsh cycling pathway after getting into road riding and racing while at school. He began riding with Bynea CC before progressing to national-level competition.
His breakthrough year came in 2022, when he represented Wales at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games and won bronze in the Scratch Race, just two days after the disappointment of finishing 4th in the Team Pursuit.
Since Birmingham, William has continued to build his career, winning multiple national titles and spending two years racing professionally on the road.
