Taylor started boxing at the age of 12. He developed an interest in boxing after watching his father train at the local boxing club when he was younger. Taylor and his father boxed on the same boxing show when he was younger. Taylor joined the full time programme in Wales in 2018 and was called up to the GB Programme in January 2022 after some very impressive international performances. Taylor’s best fight was beating his Brazilian opponent in the Czech Republic International Tournament, and his favourite boxer is Marco Barrera.
