Steffan James is a visually impaired bowler who has quickly established himself at the top of the para bowls game in Wales. He and Julie Thomas made history at the inaugural Para Bowls European Championships in 2024, claiming gold in the VI Mixed Pairs — a landmark moment for the sport. Steffan has also been a multiple Welsh national champion in the VI category. Glasgow 2026 will be his Commonwealth Games debut, and he arrives in outstanding form alongside his experienced partner Julie.
