Ruby Evans

Ruby started gymnastics at the age of five at her local leisure centre, Cardiff Olympic, and quickly developed a passion for the sport. At the age of eight, she moved to the Sports Wales National Centre, where she began training and competing with the Welsh squad, and she has continued to train there ever since.
Her gymnastics journey is something she will cherish forever, with 13 years of experiences and memories that have shaped her career. Some of her proudest achievements as a junior include becoming Junior British Champion in both years, competing at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Slovakia, and winning a silver medal on vault for Team GB.
Since moving into the senior ranks, Ruby has continued to achieve remarkable milestones. She was selected to compete at the World Championships during her first year as a senior, achieved one of her biggest goals by representing Great Britain at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and helped the team achieve fourth place in the team final. In 2025, she competed at the World Championships in Jakarta, where she won a silver medal on floor for Great Britain. She also competed at the European Championships, where she was part of the first-ever mixed team final, finishing second alongside Jake Jarman, and achieved fourth place in the floor final.
