Owain began boxing at 7 years old, when his mum introduced him to his local gym. He joined the full time programme at Sport Wales only 5 months ago, after some very impressive performances on the Development programme. His favourite boxer is Canelo Alvarez and his best fight was in the Czech Republic International Tournament, where he beat a Ukrainian in the Semi Finals.
