Meghan Higgs

Meghan Higgs is rising talent in international sprint freestyle swimming. She has been a member of the Swim Wales Elite Programme since 2024
She has gained valuable international racing experience in 2026 at the Edinburgh International Swim Meet and the Euro Meet Luxembourg.
Her major achievements include:
• Selected to represent Great Britain at the 2026 European Junior Championships
• 1st place in the 50m freestyle at the 2026 AGB Championships (Junior final)
• A finalist at the 2026 Euro Meet 50m Freestyle
• Silver medallist at the 2025 Aquatics GB Next Gen championships – 50m Freestyle
In 2026, Meghan achieved significant lifetime best performances in the 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle events. Her performances at the recent 2026 Aquatics GB championships again underlined her continued progression and at just 18 years of age.
