Lauren Gowen

Lauren Gowen (born 2003) is a Welsh international lawn and indoor bowler who won a silver medal at the 2025 World Bowls Indoor Championships and reached a career high ranking of world number 15 in June 2024. Still in her early twenties, Lauren is already regarded as one of the most exciting talents in women’s bowls, having captained the Welsh Under 25 indoor team and been a regular in the senior international squad.
She and her mother Tracy Gowen won the women’s pairs title at the British Bowls Championships, a partnership that showcases the family roots of her bowls journey. Her silver at the 2025 World Indoor Championships, partnering Ross Owen in the mixed pairs, confirmed her status as a genuine world-class performer. Glasgow 2026 will be her Commonwealth Games debut.
