John Wilson is the Para Bowls Coordinator for Disability Sport Wales and a long-standing pillar of the para bowls community in Wales. As a Director, John’s role at the Games is to guide and assist the VI bowlers on the green, a position of vital tactical importance. His experience in developing Wales’s para bowls programme, and his knowledge of Julie and Steffan as competitors, makes him an invaluable member of the squad. Glasgow 2026 will be Johns fourth Commonwealth Games having coached the team to podium finishes at both the Gold Coast in 2018 and at the Birmingham 2022 Games.
