Jemima Taylor

As a child, Jemima was full of energy and enjoyed trying a wide variety of activities. Gymnastics quickly became her favourite, and she remembers attending preschool sessions with Head Over Heels Gymnastics at her local church hall. When Jemima started school at the age of four, she joined City of Newport Gymnastics Academy (CNGA), where her passion for the sport continued to grow.
Since the age of 10, Jemima has also trained with Great Britain gymnastics squads and is incredibly grateful for the opportunities she has had to compete at the Junior European Championships, Junior World Championships and the European Youth Olympic Festival, as well as representing both Welsh and British Gymnastics at numerous national and international competitions.
Last year marked her first season as a senior gymnast, during which she competed at her first senior international event for Great Britain at a World Cup. She also represented Wales as a senior gymnast in team competition. Although she has experienced a couple of injuries during her career, she has always approached rehabilitation with a positive mindset, working hard to return to full fitness as efficiently as possible.
