Chloe Hood

Chloe is currently ranked eighth on the IWF Commonwealth Ranking List for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and represented Wales at the 2025 Commonwealth Championships in Ahmedabad, India. She holds the current Welsh women’s 69kg lifting records with an 87kg snatch, a 108kg clean and jerk, and a 191kg total. She also finished ninth in the 2025 Welsh women’s rankings.
Chloe formally played cricket for Wales. And it was during this where she dislocated her knee while bowling and so first got involved into weightlifting while going through rehab for her knee. Since that moment, Chloe found a passion for the sport of weightlifting and began her journey of competing competitively.
