Catrin Haf Jones

Catrin is currently ranked fifth on the IWF Commonwealth Ranking List for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and has claimed silver medals at both the 2025 and 2026 British Championships. A four-time Wales representative at the Commonwealth Championships (2017, 2019, 2024, and 2025), Catrin secured a bronze medal at the 2024 Commonwealth Championships in Suva, Fiji, and previously represented Wales at the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games. As the most experienced athlete within the Team Wales weightlifting squad in terms of international competition, Catrin has made multiple appearances at both the European and World Championships across senior, junior, and youth levels. She also holds the current Welsh women’s 58kg lifting records with a 108kg clean and jerk and a 192kg total and finished top of the 2025 Welsh women’s rankings.
