At 1.83m, Alex is among Wales’ tallest defenders and was named in the 2024 Celtic Cup squad, starting at goal defence against Zimbabwe and in the final versus Scotland.
Alex Johnson is a Wales Netball defender for LexisNexis Risk Solutions Dragons, known for her strength and physical presence within defensive units. She was also part of the Loughborough Lightning NSL squad in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, winning the Super League title in both years.
She made her senior international debut for Wales in January 2024 against Uganda and went on to feature in the 2024 Celtic Cup.
