A completely new discipline to the Commonwealth programme, The more familiar 5×5 version of the game has been contested twice at the Games, first in Melbourne in 2006, and in the Gold Coast in 2018. 3×3 Wheelchair basketball will also be making its debut in Birmingham. Wales are yet to compete in this fast-paced, energetic sport.
