Rhys Britton

Rhys Britton is a Welsh track and road cyclist from Pontypridd, specialising in endurance track events including the Team Pursuit, Individual Pursuit and Scratch Race.
Rhys rose through the Welsh cycling pathway after starting out with Newport Velo Youth Cycling Club, before joining the Great Britain Cycling Team endurance programme and establishing himself as a consistent medal-winning rider on the international track circuit.
He has represented Wales at two Commonwealth Games, finishing 4th in the Team Pursuit at both Gold Coast 2018 and Birmingham 2022, as well as placing 5th in the Scratch Race at Birmingham 2022.
At international level, Rhys has won medals at World Championship, European Championship and Nations Cup level, including Team Pursuit silver at the 2024 World Championships, Scratch Race bronze at the 2021 World Championships and multiple Team Pursuit medals with Great Britain.
