Lowri Thomas is a Welsh track sprint cyclist from Abergavenny, specialising in sprint disciplines including the Team Sprint.
Lowri has represented both Great Britain and Wales, with one of her standout moments coming at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, where she won bronze in the Women’s Team Sprint alongside Emma Finucane and Rhian Edmunds.
She has continued to compete internationally with the Great Britain Cycling Team sprint squad and was travelling reserve for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Women’s Team Sprint squad.
Commonwealth Games experience
Lowri represented Wales at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
She won bronze in the Women’s Team Sprint alongside Emma Finucane and Rhian Edmunds, helping deliver a major sprint medal for Team Wales on the track.
