Jonah Jenkins

Jonah Jenkins is a Welsh-qualified track sprint cyclist, specialising in sprint events including the sprint, keirin and team sprint.
Born in Hackney, Jonah began cycling with Cycling Club Hackney before progressing through the Welsh development pathway with Beicio Cymru. He has developed into one of the leading young sprint riders in the programme, combining national success with international racing experience.
Jonah’s breakthrough results include becoming Junior Keirin Champion in 2025, shortly after recovering from Covid, and winning the Senior National Track Series Sprint Series in the 2025/26 season.
His Welsh connection comes through his grandparents, and he describes his family as long-standing supporters of Welsh rugby and football, with regular family holidays in North Wales helping strengthen that sense of identity.
