Carys Lloyd

Carys Lloyd is a Welsh-qualified endurance cyclist competing across road and track, with a fast-rising career already spanning junior world titles and the Women’s WorldTour.
Her connection to Wales comes through her family. Her dad grew up in Wales and was raised by Welsh parents, and Carys says she has always associated cycling with that Welsh side of her family.
On the track, Carys enjoyed a standout junior career, winning three world titles in 2024. On the road, she has stepped into the elite ranks with Movistar Women’s WorldTour Team and claimed her first professional victory at Ronde van Brugge.
Alongside her cycling, Carys has balanced elite sport with her education, completing A-levels in maths, further maths and physics while racing as a first-year professional.
