Vice-Chair

Claire has been a CGW Board member since 2016, and was appointed as Vice Chair in 2023. She is the Chair of the Governance and Risk Committee, and was Chair of Selection for the Birmingham 2022 Games, and an Appeals panel for member for the Gold Coast 2018 Games. A former Welsh International athlete at 400m, Claire is a partner at KPMG in the UK where she has held a number of senior roles in the firm’s public sector practice. She is a member of KPMG’s Ethics and Independence Working Group. Claire has particular expertise in governance, regulation, education and skills, and public policy. She is also KPMG’s senior sponsor for LGBT+ and speaks regularly on inclusion and social mobility.
