Claire has been a CGW Board member since 2016 and was appointed as Vice Chair in 2023. She is the Chair of the Governance and Risk Committee. She was Chair of Selection for the Birmingham 2022 Games, and a member of the Appeals panel for the Gold Coast 2018 Games. A former Welsh International athlete at 400m, Claire is an experienced NED, executive coach and consultant, with particular expertise in governance, regulation, education and skills, healthcare, inclusion and public policy. Until 2023, Claire was a partner at KPMG in the UK where she held senior roles in the firm’s public sector practice, was a member of KPMG’s Ethics and Independence Working Group and was KPMG’s senior sponsor for LGBT+ inclusion.
