Ashton currently plays professional rugby for the Newport Dragons regional team, where he made his professional debut at the age of 17 after progressing through the academy system. Alongside his rugby career, Ashton has completed a degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice and Youth Justice, followed by a Masters in Human Resource Management. Having competed in a variety of sports prior to his rugby career, Ashton has a keen interest in a wide range of sports which he hopes to pass on as contributions to the Team. Ashton has a passion for equality and fairness, and is looking forward to being part of Wales’ Commonwealth Games team to succeed at the 2022 games
