New partner for Team Wales
Browne Jacobson, a private and public sector law firm, has become the 12th team and community partner for Commonwealth Games Wales over a four-year period.
The UK and Ireland firm has worked with clients across Wales for 20 years, and opened a Cardiff office, its seventh location, in summer 2023.
In addition to being a firm of legal specialists, it is also a proud leader in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) with a series of initiatives that aim to address social mobility gaps in the legal profession.
Tim Edds, Head of Cardiff at Browne Jacobson, said: “The partnership with Team Wales was a natural fit for us as soon as we met Rebecca.
“Our values are very much aligned and we are really excited about the opportunities partnering with Team Wales will bring, particularly in relation to social mobility and DEI from a sporting and business perspective.
“We’re also very much looking forward to meeting and collaborating with other like-minded Welsh businesses that are already partners of Team Wales.”
Team Wales Chief Executive, Rebecca Edwards-Symmons, added: “It’s fantastic to welcome Browne Jacobson as a new partner. They are a renowned legal specialist across the UK and we are looking forward to developing our partnership over the next cycle. We have proven how well we have worked with our new partners over the last 12 months, and it will be a key opportunity for us to work alongside Browne Jacobson to maximise partnership opportunities and develop meaningful relationships in business in Wales.”
