Rhian began cycling at the age of 10, when she attended taster sessions at the Geraint Thomas Velodrome, around the age of 13 she started training more regularly. Rhian is currently in the Great Britain Junior Cycling Academy. Edmunds broke the junior national record in the flying 200 in 2021.
