Adele started shot putting as part of a multi-eventing but specialised in shot put at 15 before going to her first International for Great Britain, aged 16 at the World Youth Championships. Adele studied alongside her training and has a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and an MSc in Psychology. Commonwealth selection has been a long journey for Adele, missing out in the last two cycles. She currently trains at Birchfield Harriers under coach Ryan Spencer-Jones
