Team Wales joins Cardiff Met with the launch of ArcHER
Cardiff Metropolitan University has launched a new programme, held on their Cynoced Campus, which aims to educate those in the sports sector to gain a better understanding of the female body.
Cardiff Met, which is a headline partner with Team Wales, teamed up for a Tim Cymru Business Club panel event during the day’s event, focussing on female leadership, which included Rebecca Edwards-Symmons, CEO of Team Wales; Dr Emma Ross from the Well HQ; Suzy Drane, former Wales netball captain; Sarah Jones, Wales and GB Hockey player and Cardiff Met’s Student Union President Natalia-Mia Roach.
Team Wales CEO Rebecca Edwards-Symmons said ‘It was fantastic to be able to join Cardiff Met during their ArcHER launch. Understanding the female body in sport is crucial to supporting girls in physical activity, and the access available today has been outstanding, from one on one advice, panel discussions to having your bra size measured. Superb.
It was also great for the Team Wales Business Club to be a part of the day. Our second business club event held at the university, and it was great to welcome our partners and guests to visit our headline partner’s HQ.’
