Table Tennis
Table Tennis is relatively new to the Commonwealth Games, making its debut at the 2002 Games in Manchester. Birmingham will see a large Table Tennis programme with men’s and women’s singles and doubles, mixed doubles, men’s and women’s team events and Para Table Tennis. Wales have won two medals in the discipline, Adam Robertson and Ryan Jenkins fought for silver in the mixed doubles in it’s debut year and a bronze for Joshua Stacey in the Gold Coast, the nations first para medal in the sport. Birmingham 2022 will see the return of Anna Hursey, who made history in 2018 being the youngest ever competitor for Team Wales at 11-years-old.
