Issy grew up playing a variety of sports including football, hockey, netball, swimming, running, tennis and gymnastics, deciding to take triathlon more seriously from the age of about 15. Joining the Welsh Triathlon pathway Issy joined the squad at the National Triathlon Performance Centre Wales. Despite 2021 being a season racked with injury and illness 2022 is looking promising.

2019 – Europe Triathlon Cup Kecskemet – 4th

2022 – Europe Triathlon Cup Yenişehir – 5th
