Like the Barker sisters and Geraint Thomas, Doull started his cycling career at Cardiff club, Maindy Flyers. In 2010 he was selected for the 2011 British Cycling’s Olympic Development Programme. Doull turned professional for the 2014 road season with An Post-Chain Reaction.Doull represented Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, 2014. After five years with Team Sky, he now rides for  UCI WorldTeam EF Education-EasyPost.
