Head of Comms & Engagement

Cathy graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a BSc Honours degree in Sport Development and went on to become a Personal Trainer and Physical Education Teacher before moving into Sport Broadcast Journalism. She has covered numerous international sporting events during her Broadcasting career, including the Commonwealth Games, Glasgow 2014.

She joined Commonwealth Games Wales in 2016 as Games Manager, project managing the Commonwealth Youth Games, Bahamas 2017, Queens Baton Relay 2017 and the Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast 2018.

Following the 2018 Games she was promoted to Head of Engagement, overseeing all media and external engagement.
