Diving

Our final competitors of Birmingham 2022 were Aidan Heslop and Ruby Thorne in the Mixed synchronized 10m diving. Preparations have been difficult due to Ruby having a perforated eardrum and being unable to train. Despite this setback the pair did brilliantly securing 5 solid scores including an incredibly difficult 3 and ½ back somersault to finish in 8th place.

Table Tennis

Anna and Charlotte secured Wales first ever Women’s medal at the Games with a 3-1 win over Singapore.

The Welsh duo won the first two sets before dropping the third. Just like the opening round of Joshua Stacey’s Medal Match the game went above the first to eleven to win the point, with the Girls winning the game 16-14. Charlotte and Anna were able to edge past them in the fourth game secure the medal, and make history for Welsh Table Tennis.
