Independant Director

Nicola has worked extensively with both the Welsh and British teams at Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games for over 25 years. She has leadership experience both nationally and internationally, including roles as Chef de Mission for Team Wales in Gold Coast 2018 and President of the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy 2011 – 2017. Nicola is a Professor of Physiotherapy at Cardiff University, and was awarded an OBE for services to physiotherapy in 2019.

Nicola in in her second cycle as a board member for Commonwealth Games Wales, and will once again lead Team Wales as Chef de Mission in Birmingham 2022.
