President (Honorary position)

A familiar face in Welsh Sport, an inspirational athlete, coach and administrator. Anne’s vast experience includes being capped 138 consecutive times for Wales, 14 times for Great Britain and captained both Wales and Team GB Women’s Hockey team. Anne also went on to coach Wales and Great Britain and until recently was the President of Hockey Wales.

Accompanied by many sporting and professional accolades and investitures, Anne is known and respected world-wide. As a former teacher, Anne prides herself on developing the next generation of champions and coaches and giving those athletes the perfect platform to do their very best.

Other honorary roles previously held by Anne have included Director of Great Britain Olympic Hockey, Chair of the International Hockey Federation’s Development and Coaching Committee (the 1st Welsh woman to hold such a post), Chef de Mission for the Welsh Team, at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games 2006 and Chair of Team Wales selection panel 2014 and 2018.
