Natalie Anne Powell
Natalie won her first cadet British nationals at 17. Shortly after she moved to Cardiff university to study biomedical science. There she spent the next 6 years studying alongside her judo career and training at the Welsh institute of sport. In 2014 she achieved her childhood dream of becoming the first Welsh judo athlete to become Commonwealth Games Champion. In 2018 Natalie went back to studying to get her masters in advanced sports coaching. Natalie is a 2x Olympian having competed in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. She currently represents Irfon Judo Club and is coached by Darren Warner.
