Queen's Baton Relay

WE WANT YOU to be a part of the Queen’s Baton Relay!

The Commonwealth Games is a celebration of humanity, equality, and destiny across the Commonwealth nations. Every four years we all unite to showcase our sporting success, and before each games the Queen’s Baton Relay travels across the Commonwealth.  The climate crisis affects all members of the commonwealth, and although changes to the earth’s climate are natural, the alarming increase in changes are a result of our activities.

Through sport, we have a voice.

We are looking for schools, clubs, cities, towns, and villages to make history with us…

What are you doing to protect our planet? Tell us how you are shaping a more sustainable future, and we could be visiting your hometown with the Queen’s Baton Relay in 2022!

Why should we visit you?

To register your interest, please fill out the form below and tell us what your school/club/city/town/village are doing to create a more sustainable future for Wales.

Get creative! In addition to the form we also encourage photo’s, videos and other creative ways of demonstrating your commitment to climate change. You can email your photos and videos to   QBR@teamwales.cymru

The Queen's Baton Relay was launched here in Wales in 1958.
